I know there are a lot of guys out there who are very funny about having a clean boat. I have been washing and drying my boat of years and have recently discovered a product that helps in the drying process. It's called the absorber. I found that I drastically reduced the amount of wetspots and streaks after I after I wiped down my boat with it. If you wash and dry your boat a lot, I would give it a try. Thought this post might help a few of you out there.

Been using it for 5 years now. I love it. I still have the first one I bought 5 years ago. How is that for product durability? I hand wash my vehicles every week. I bought my dad one last year for fathers day for his RV, and now he is sold on them too!!! They are worth every bit of 10 dollars.

10 years here. I have 3, 2 for the boat, one for the car. Won't let those beach towels anywhere near the outside of my boat.

I always carry a couple of synthetic chamois on the boat. Wring them out and they're almost dry.

For some reason I have never had good luck with the purple ones. I always get the red, green or blue now.

The Absorber rules. I still have my first one, nearly worn out at about 12 yrs old. We always have several on the boat. We use them to:

Wipe down boards to keep as much water out of the boat as possible.
Windsheild wiper when spray makes it hard to see.
Dry of with them after riding to keep your towel warm and dry (great for drying hair).
Lay wet skate shoes on one to catch water and keep the carpet dry.
Sit on them to pull water out of your wet trunks.
Wipe the boat down at the end of the day.
Stand on one when you are dripping wet to help keep the carpet dry as you are drying off.

As you can tell, I am kind of anal about keeping the boat dry inside. This is because, generally, the boat gets covered and pt back into storage immediately after each use, so the drier it stays, the less it needs to dry out once it is put away.
I found a brand called aquadry at Walmart that is a few $ cheaper and work as well as the absorber. We bought a few in blue to match the boat.
