with the big weekend coming up, i know we are going to be surfing a lot at lake don pedro. I wakeboard more than i surf. i plan to surf a lot more this year but just have not been able to get the wake on the boat great. it is surfable and everything but the pocket seems to be really close to the back of the boat. Is this normal? I dont wanna load it a whole bunch with extra weight but i guess i may have to. any suggestions on how to get the sweet spot further back? Is this possible with a lil over stock ballast?

Lots of weight and deep water. I rode behind an LSV with about 3,000 pounds, the wake was pretty good. The pocket was a little short, I would have liked to have seen the weight a little more forward.

more bow weight means longer pocket. look at wake outlaws they have a write up on how to weight an lsv. I have to say it is going to take some weight actualy alot of wegiht.
