I'm replacing my boat buddy on my 02 X-star. I want to replace it with the exact one that's on there, but I don't see any model number or such. Which one do I need? I'm guessing the boat buddy 2 because my boat is 20'7". But I see they list the difference in the diameter of the boat eye for the two types. Here is what is listed:
Boat Buddy I for boats up to 20 ft. with 3/8" bow eyes.
Boat Buddy II for boats 21 ft. and longer with 1/2" bow-eyes.
The II is $25 more, but that's not what I'm concerned about. I just want to make sure the one I get works right for my boat and trailer, and easy swap out.
