My JL 12w6 ultimatly came to its demise at the end of last season. Due to bad glass work done on my ruddder box, which in turn filled my boat up with too much water and got it wet.

So i have some crappy old speakers i'm gonna throw in my bow. They are 10" Duals, i think my buddy got them for free at some point from Best Buy

My question is, can i put the two of them in one sealed enclosure. I know everyone loves ported for boats but i'm still gonna go with sealed. I need a geusstimation on what volume i should have. I'm gonna make it tomorrow, i already have the MDF and whatnot.

If you have any input please tell me.

ideally, you'd want each sub in it's own enclosure. To keep the waves off the back of the sub from 'pushing' the cone of the other one slightly out of alignment as it operates.

Being you don't sound like you care about these subs you should be fine with running them in the same box. Assuming you are running them in a mono configuration where they are both running off the same signal.

Use the same box but put a baffle between them.
.75 to 1.0 cubic foot per sub is kinda average for 10" woofers "kinda" they all differ in requirements.

Yeah .7 to 1.0 is what i thought, and the worse the sub the smaller the enclosure it can go in right?

So would 1.0 be fine for the both of them in the same chamber?

And yeah its gonna be hooked up mono to my amp.
