Custom Home-built wake boat? I cant find thread!

I remember seeing a homemade wake boat that someone was constructing on here...they started with a like a hull that almost looked like a commercial fishing boat. Anyone remember??? Can you help me find the thread??

that might have been what i was looking at but for some reason, I thought the guy just bought the hull and then added everything

That thing is awesome! I've got a buddy of mine who builds wooden boats so I know how much time and effort go into something like this.

I boat that I was thinking of was a boat hull (metal I think) that a guy bought and was converting it into a wakeboat (possibly specifically a wakesurfing boat). He was buying a motor and putting it in as a VDrive and everything. Anyone remember this??

The gallery of the steel boat is amazing, that boat turned out really well, and the wake pics that are in the gallery look really nice. The Epic story is pretty amazing to me as well. I can't imagine putting that much time and energy into something not knowing how well the finished product will turn out.
