I'm trying to find a good boat for my buddy and I found a 19ft Sportstar. How will this be for wakeboarding? I have skied behind one and the slalom wake is excellent.

i have a 99 Sportstar open bow. It is a great boat. No frills, just what you need, basically less crap to break on you. I have the zeroflex tower and two 500# fat sacs (making the boat the same as the 1999 x-5), and it throws a killer wake, as well as being direct drive, so it throws a great slalom wake as well. We got ours for 17k with 240 hours on it if that helps.

If your friend is looking for a good used Ski Boat in Ontario, try calling South Winds Marine in Collingwood: 705-443-0678.

Most of the boats are Natiques. I know they have some 94' to 98' Sport Natiques and one 94' open bow Ski Natique. They might even have a couple Prostars.
