Boat Questions / Recommendations

I'm still a newbie. Been out twice on my friends 35' Cabo (inboard diesel). The thing has a wake about waist high. We get a good wake so to speak, but the boat is running around 17 knots. Problem is that the board we can't let go of the rope. Anyway, I've been looking for boats. I found one. It's a 2005 Enzo Storm. Here's a link to the boat. I'm not sure of the price. This guy is about an hour north of me. Anyway, any input would be appreciated.

17 knots is kinda fast....

looking at the wake, it has some size but is not clean..

how is the boat weighed..

That boat is a big fishing boat with a cabin and everything. There is no extra weight at all. We're all new to even trying this. We did get it cleaned up a little by slowly going in a long arc. But we still had to get the speed up to get it cleaner.

That thing could be sweet. You'll want to get some weight on the port side of the boat. Probably 4000 lbs of water, lead, people, whatever. That should clean up the face. 17 knots is too fast as well. Have fun. Looks like it could be killer.
