Cigarette Boat Vs. SANTE--DELTA!

Anybody hear about the incident 2 weeks ago where a "go fast boat" ran over a tow rope and pulled the tower off of a 06' SANTE by ski beach? Super scary, anybody hurt? Anybody have pictures?

That happened on Vic a year or two ago. someone drove by, caught a guys rope and it turned his boat completely over and stuck the tower in the mud. I think they had to wait for the tide to come up to break it loose.

Granted I've never been to the delta, but what was the boat doing that close to the SANTE? We've got a 100' law here in nebraska on public water.

here it's 150' if the boat has someone in the water, unless you're just idling, which doesn't sound like the case

Pulled the tower off? I would have figred the rope would have snapped first. Damn strong rope...

It happened recently. I know a guy who was doing a new audio layout for him, needless to say that job is on the back-burner. Spectra is super strong, I didn't know it was that strong either!!

That is how this one ended up upside down. It didn't take the tower off, but shocked a boat load of people something quick!
