I have ridden behind one several different times. I am not impressed, when compared to a real wakeboard boat. The first problem are the jets. Trying to get up, you can tell there is not nearly as much tourqe or power. You have to work much harder to get yourself out of the water. The problem only gets worse as you add thousands of pounds of ballast to get a good wake. The next diffrence is in the center of the wake. The jet wash feels so diffrent from the prop wash. Personaly I didnt like it. We have had close to 2000 pounds of ballast and the boat took forever to get up to speed. The wake is farily hard and medium sized with lots of ballast. Can be shaped more or less. I would buy a v-drive for a comperable price
