Seems to be a flood of the same flame-bait threads so I thought everyone could use a laugh.

No plug, it takes too much time to pull out on the ramp. Edit: Oops I'm out of the 10 minutes. I knew I shouldn't of eaten lunch... (Message edited by rallyart on September 19, 2007)

The real Epics (Toyota) didn't need straps.

Epics do need back straps. But their awesomeness allows them to not need a bow connection. Also, epics throw even larger wakes if you dont take them off the trailer while you ride, something about the fenders cleaning up the wake.

They also automatically shut themselves off whenever anyone is in the water nearby, and throw no wake at all during powerturns.

i think they just drop their wedge and the wind resistance holds the boat down.

Scott, It's so nice of you to ask! I can hardly believe that the WW community is so concerned as to launch an entire thread seeking the answer to this burning question..... I don't want anyone to lose any sleep pondering this important issue!

Just curious why everyone is bagging on the Epic. Why I don't particularly care for the Epic myself Chris Anthony has proven to be a great guy. He knows I own a nautique, but still answers all my emails and questions. Hell, he made what everyone asked for, a SAN 210 on steroids, what gives??

^^^^^^^ Besides that, the plastic coated hooks are connected to the boat rings while the non-coated ones (as far as I can tell) are connected to the trailer. My straps connect the same way. I don't give a sh*t which way the logo is oriented that's the way I would put them on my boat.

OK, but the REAL question that no one seems to have guts enough to ask: Do the guys that own Epics strap their own boats down or do their wives do the strap-on for them?? Thread delete in 5....4....3....2....1.... My bad.
