Chris, your rocks are a good 25 feet out of the water now! That channel is almost dry and not passable. Its still the best place to ride though. Next trip October 16th! Come on out.

What are those white things? Are they stakes with pvc over the top. Good idea.

Thats Thane's Substance that he rode before the Ricky G. He has Park's boots on the Rick G.

Yea those are 7' t-stake fence posts. They pounded down to about 1' out of the water.

The PVC is slipped over and floats up. I hate tight shore lines that you can trip over.

Note to self, break Thane's leg so I can go on houseboat trip...okay ready, go!

Looks like fun, I went last year, I truly hope it gets some water, it is the greatest place on earth.

That WAS my Substance which is now for sale. I was riding a Ricky G, with ultras, then Parks... now back to Ultras. Ultras are the best.

Those are sweet pics. The one of Dusty and Taylor is especially cool. The boats look awesome too. I'm so lucky to have friends/family with such sweet setups.

Chris Stack- We missed you there, and by the way, I found a disposable camera, and I had no idea where/when it was from. I had the film developed, and it was those pics you were after... of the crash site. I'll get them to you if you still want them.

How are you doing? We haven't talked in a few months and I was wondering how your knee is doing? If that's you in the picture doing a backroll then I guess everything is getting back to normal.

I just got back on the board about a month ago, although it was only surface riding and lip sliding. I just started to go w2w again and building up my confidence. My knee gets a little stiff after riding but overall it's doing well.

I left a voice message on your cell but I'm not sure if you have the same SLC number anymore. Give me a shout back when you get a chance.

Thane, what the hell were you doing with your left arm?

Thane is throwing an "Osmosis 5". If the camera was set up for sequence shots, It would show that Thane is reaching around for the handle. He pulls in hard at the start of the rotation and lets the handle go. The slack in the rope gives him just the time he needs to get his left hand over to the handle.
It is just spooky how he can he can get so far out of shape, and bring it all back together just before landing, riding away like it was no big deal.
I'm just luck I get to ride with him every once in a while.

Anyway, he would have to catch it with his right hand to be an Osmosis 5.

You just had to post that one didn't you Troy. Now I can't make fun of Thane anymore for that other pic. Oh well, I guess at least I go upside down first before I spaz out and throw the handle.
