In my IOs passengers have always gravitated towards the bow and the passenger seat. Last choice being the back of the boat.

Is this any different in a ski/wb boat? Does it depend on what activity is going on?

With our Vdrive usually everyone is in the back on the wrap around... rarely are there people in the bow

In my Ddrive the preferred seat is in the lounge behind the engine facing backwards, then the bow especially for kids, then the forward facing rear seats, and last the observers seat. If it's cold the bow seats are used less.
I guess I'm not the preferred company because I'm always in the drivers seat.

Usually kids & women who go to the bow in our boat. And only if it's hot & sunny. Otherwise everyone is behind the windshield.

Seating is not a general admissions ticket when we wakeboard or surf on my Centurion which has a pretty sensitive wake. If balast is cranked up in back, I will usually have a couple up front in addition to underseat bow balast, but most people gravitate behind the glass.

The bow is the last place I want people to sit, especially kids. It's a rougher ride, blocks the driver's view, and it's dangerous. It blows me away when I see people hauling ass down the lake with a couple kids hanging over the bow. A friend of ours daughter broke her jaw on the deck when they hit a big roller.
