Hi Clubmyke, I like this pic. We bought this same boat (05, 211). Went out for the first time last sunday with the water being around 44 F wearing two wetsuits. What is your update with the weights ? we tried 2 fly high nautique v sacks ( I think 270 lbs each ) in the back locker ( upper one was only filled half), a fat buddy on cooler seat starboard fat buddy in the bow starboard and another 350 lbs alongside cooler starboard seat but the wave didn't look half as good as yours. Because we can`t get pop products in Switzerland I just bought 16 * 44pound steal weights to put on, We're going to try this on thursday hopefully. I did notice some water coming in through the vent on the starboard side, all you did was pull it out and ducktape ? will this work ?

Becci,

I did quite a bit of mods to the 211 for wakesurfing.. I sealed up the starboard side airvent with clear transom tape underneath the vent and ran the airvent hose to the port side ( my boat is set strictly for goofy surfing or wakeboarding). Also added 2 Rule 1100 bilge pumps on each side and really tightened down the bumper trim on the boat.

When it comes to weighing it.

8 Pop product bags along the inside hull starboard locker
3 " " the driver
5 " " in the starboard bow
Factory starboard tank @ 250 lbs
Flyhigh fatsac in the starboard bow 300 lbs
" " rear locker 300lbs
" "300 lb along side the cooler or where the removeable rear seat is..

the hydrogate set for 2 and run in rpm mode @ a average of 11.8-12.2 mph..

You will like the lead / steel weight wether it is pop products of not. It really cleans up the wake and makes it really firm.

Hi Clubmyke, I live in AZ and wakesurf all the time. I haven't replied to any threads in a while on this message board but I do read it often. Why the move to AZ? Good timing for real estate if your buying.

I'm a recent transplant (from Ventura no less) and an amateur wake surfer at best.

Wakesurfing is something I got into a few years back...broke some ribs before a trip to Lake Powell and I was not able to wakeboard, so I took up surfing.

I definately get a kick out of it and it looks like your the boat to get behind.

Lets set it up.
