Call a shipping company in Belgium - They'll let you know. it varies from country to country.

You'll have to pay shipping, VAT, import duty.

just had a quote on getting a boat to Australia for 12.5k USD so i'd say somewhere in that range is a good guess.

You can get a wakeboat into the UK for about £1500 then you'll have duty and VAT on top. I gues Belgium would be very similar.

yeah, the estimate I just received was 12k man. crazy. There was an entire thread on the Wake.au site about importing boats and 8 - 12k were common numbers. I think you can save cost if you buy a boat that you can put into a container vs having to use a yacht/boat specific shipping co.

oz is a lot further than europe plus there isn't much roro going that way and wakeboats don't fit in containers.

pay attention on enviromental laws. make sure you will get the permission to run the boat you import!

Pierre,

What make and model of boat are you looking to ship? Also what port in Belgium are you looking to have it shipped to? I work with an export company in Chicago and my actual degree is in export. I also own a purchasing company, so I can help facilitate the purchase and shipping of your boat. If you're serious shoot me a PM and we can talk.

We've tried all year to get boats to Auckland, New Zealand for under $10K but $12,500 had been the cheapest and it is the most expensive port to ship to. New Zealand and Australia are just so far away, therefore making it big bucks. A lot of companies are $15K. If I could get under $10K, I could wholesale 10 boats a month there.

Shipped one recently to Lithuania for $3,000usd and have been around $3-4,000 to most of Europe. We havn't shipped any in the last 90 days but would guess it is about the same.

@SD, pm me and I'll send you the name of a important person at kuene-nagel.com, they are a bit shipping company on business to business level. as far as you really want to ship 10 boats a month I'd be surprised if they could not make it for 10K... cu
