Hello, I recently purchased a barely used Mastercraft X30 with 44 hours on it. I'm very new to these types of boats so pardon my lack of knowledge. When I initialy looked at the boat I noticed that on the dash there were toggles that were labeled "Heater" "Shower" and "Wash down" shown here:

Well, it looks like none of options are actually in my boat and nothing happens when you flip those switches on.. Same goes for the speed control shown here:

I pulled the cover off the panel behind the dash to find all the connectors that would hook up to these options unhooked and just hanging there..

I can totally understand if those are just options that my boat didn't come with, but if the boat didn't come with those options then why would Mastercraft label the switches for options the boat didn't have?

Thanks for the help, other than being a little confused, I'm digging the boat... The wake scares me!!!

All their newer boats come with the toggle switches prelabeled incase you add those options.

I do not have a Mastercraft, but in my Moomba the wiring harness was pre-wired for a boat with all options. I ordered mine without a stereo, so when I installed one all the wiring was already in place - same for the remotes.

Its probably cheaper to pre-wire everything in the same harness.

I would think the speed control should work. That is standard i think.

You do have speed control. That is what the switches on the side control. The big gauge on the right side of the dash in this picture is the actual unit, but the 3 black switches on the side control it.

That will show what speed you are going and then when it reaches the set speed it will let you know. You'll have to play with it a little to figure it out.

That is a 2006 dash, the same as mine:

Probably a better place for MC specific questions is going to be on Teamtalk. that is the MC owners website and has a lot of good people there. I go by GO RED over there.
