lake isabella

Anyone ever board on isabella, how is it, busy? windy? water temp? WE are thinking about selling our house in parker and getting a Place by isabella. Its closer to home and has the greatest dirtbike riding right out your back door, i just want to know how the boarding is, that makes the final decision. thanks

Have not been their in a few years, as I remember always windy lot of submerged obstacles and busy on the weekends. I do not ever plan on returning.
last I heard it was really low.I would check it out before selling Your house.
Do not take My word for it.

what lake isnt busy on the weekends during the summer?

I went there once and will never go back. They had only a certain area where you can ride. Big Green chunks of crap floating in the water. To many people in a small area.....just not worth the trip.

I went last fourth of July and will never go back. The lake was low they shut the water off to the showers and campground due to bad planning. The lake had submerged obsticles and was a nice shade of algee (sp?) and the excessive wind didn't help as well as the nightmare they call a launch one lane and everyone else in this cove launching from the dirt sides. Buyer beware I'd recommend taking a weekend trip if your that interested at least before you spend the money.

P.S. Our whole group refer to that Lake as Ickabella now.
