in the atlanta area its still a good scene, maybe not the best its ever been but definately no shortage of riders or boats to ride behind. the georgia wake series pulls 45-65 riders at the events usually. surfing has taken over for tubing and a large portion of "wakeboarders" that got tired of getting broken off but my crew is pretty solid on only wakeboarding. usually after the 2nd or 3rd person surfs half the people in the boat look like they're ready to die from boredom so we switch back over to wakeboarding pretty quick lol
