Hey we were out Sunday and saw a yellow centurion completely out of the water on the rocks almost under the bridge by Union Point. I didn't have my camera unfortunately so no pics. Does anybody know what happened?

windy conditions + water current + high tide = rocks! Note that the 5mph zone that the boat was beached at isn't exactly long.

near Union point there is a sand bar not that far out. I've seen boats completely beached on it. my theory sense everyone seems to have one is he hit the bar a log was in the sand punched a hole into the boat got the boat off didnt notice he was taking on water until he was underway again and parked it on the rocks.

its supposed to be ab 75 yards or so but people just fly right thru. it wasnt windy enough to be a factor nor is the current that strong right there. Its definitley driver error. looks like one less power turner to deal with

sandbar is probably in the neighborhood of 50-75 yards off that dock thats just on the other side of union point bridge. if you go by at a lower tide you can actually see the seaweed growing up from the shallows. ive seen many boats stuck there. There used to be a full tulie island there and was easily noticed by all. Ever since the tulies died off its been a hazard to all. im actually suprised theres no hazard bouys there but i guess that cost $ and who would want to do a thing like that...

never considered that factor. when you look at it like that if you were gonna steal it and get parts to a getaway car that's not a bad spot. its now caught my full interest. come on people theres enough delta go-er's on this board to figure out what really happen... who's boat is that and what really happen??

Probably was tied up somewhere else and the tide got it. Notice the tower is folded down.

atleast they got the tower down...because we al know how important that is, especially given the situation. "we're going ashore, quick, take the tower down!" ahahahaha

Maybe he thought he could launch/load from the bridge.

I'm going to lobby with stolen as well. Tower folded down to rip off tower speakers easier. There is no reason to have an "experienced" driver end up in this location if they hit something and then fold their tower down.

I saw that Sunday. I'm saying it's stolen as well. It is in the only spot that has very few rocks. There's a pillar you can see in the pic, that boat had to be going pretty strait at that spot to get it up that far.

its just the spot was way to hidden, and the road right above seemed to be such an easy pick up spot.
