As we do every year, we'll be kicking off the WakeWorld Riders Choice Awards on 8/1. I want to make sure we don't miss anything in the Innovation of the Year category. Can you please post products that you believe should be nominated for Innovation of the Year?

Some I can think of off the top of my head are the Liquid Force F.A.S.T. system and the Hyperlite Byerly board.

Here is the list of nominees for 2003, so none of these are eligible this year:

MasterCraft -- X-Star Hull (winner)
Tige -- ConvexV Hull
Monster Tower -- Monster Tower
Malibu -- Illusion Tower
MasterCraft -- Board Racks
Nvert Sports -- Board Racks
Big Air Pylons -- Wake Wing
Wetbox -- Speaker Boxes
MB Sports -- Two-Speed Tranny (2nd runner up)
Accurate -- Carbon Handle
Cassette -- 4-Trak
WakeDesigns -- Rival Tower
Boss -- Adjustable Tower
Hyperlite -- Byerly Boa System (runner up)

Any help would be appreciated!

2004(?): NVS pro audio tower speakers.
2005: MC's throttle by wire.

One of the '03 nominees is already out of business. It's a jungle out there!

LF fast system or entire binding line with the new plates, angled footbed, lycra/neoprene lining and 4 new bindings(transit, sphynx, minx, alpha)

only hope that the 04 byerly doesn't appear in the nominees

I feel that the Pasta Pro is really getting the shaft in the voting here. Really folks, not even in the top 15, that is just ludicrous. What a design, you put your favorite pasta in the pot, add water and lock the lid. Once your pasta has finished cooking you just flip the pot over and drain it in the sink. Presto! Perfect pasta every time… Plus the damn thing is only $19.95; there is nothing on your list even close to $19.95. Did I mention that they make great gifts? Give it up for the pasta pro.

Who nominated the "Wake Wing"? I would get more use out of a pasta pro on my boat:-)

Seriously though LF's canted footbeds are a great inovation.

Leo the Bi-Level decks are 05.

I'd have to agree with Metthew. The new LF (and CD) bindings are quite innovative. But I guess they would come under the best binding catagory?
