*I also ride a Ricky, great board, only have one season on it, good speed, easy to control.

I have a Ricky G and Phantom (Caddy 135). I really like the Ricky G. It has a smooth pop and the landings are relativly soft. The Phantom seems to buck a little, but the landings aren't quite as soft.

I rode the Ricky G for a while. That mold has been around the block and through a few companies. It is one of the best out there in my opinion.

if you've ridden the thruster harris, or even the o'brien harris, you've ridden the gator harris.

if you've ridden the badass, you've ridden the gator mary jane.

if you've ridden the premier/era, you've ridden the gator gonzales.

This is just a rumor, that he's switching boat companies.
This is just what I heard at the shop down the street when I went to pick some new stuff up.

I'd like to see GatorBoards get bumped up to the same status as LF or Hyper. kinda like CWB did in the past years.
Old     (partydock17)      Join Date: Apr 2004       04-06-2005, 8:04 AM Reply
How about Lidberg, is it really true they signed him on?
I just can't believe double-up would make such a stupid mistake by letting him go!

maybe if they start coming up and using their own designs, it'll happen. until then, it won't happen.

Their going to have to bring out some new molds for next year, just because of all of the new riders they signed on.

The guys here at the shop and me are going to go ride later at the local lake. Were going to demo out the new LF Fish and the GB Brisco and Militant.
Old     (vertproductions)      Join Date: Sep 2002       04-07-2005, 4:38 PM Reply
GB is stepping things up like you wouldn't believe. If you all only new what was to come in the future. As for the unoriginal molds, what do you think the Militant is, the Gator, the RG is modified, the Brisco!! The team is in full effect and everybody is cool with each other. Lidberg kills it and he is GB. The wakeskate team is one of the best out there, and still growing. Just make sure that you all keep your eyes open for GB...

With Rob Hyatt and Gator at the helm, there will be some very innovative things coming from GB.

I rode the Lexy and Mary Jane and loved them. The Lexy felt extra smooth and stable, while the Mary Jane had better edging.

I'm going to try to check out a new pair of Nice PRS1s om the Vandall board tomarrow after work.

We went out this morning.

The Vandall seemed to be real loosewhile just riding. Real easy to spin. When you put it up on edge it was so stable though. Those molded in fins were pretty sweet.
