Alright guys, we all have problems with the yahoos on the lake. I got an idea, what if we all get together, and have a huge party at our local lakes! meet all the riders in your areas. We could get it big enough to where we hit the boat limit at small lakes early in the morning (maby 4 or 5 am), totally shutting out those weekend warriors and have a saturday with out powerturns!!! What do you guys think?

It would be easier to do at canyon then sagauro. Ive seen canyon closed at 11 am some weekends. That would take alot of boats.

i thought about it, figured it would be more like a chill day to meet people, since yesterday (sunday) was go wakeboard day. Im sure we could figure out a way if it got bigger you know?! We could organize something if everyone agrees to it ya know?
Yea it would take a ton of boats, but if we could get a good turn out the first time, it would just keep getting bigger the next time. And im sure if it gets big enough local shops/dealerships would be all over it.

yea even if we dont fill the lakes we can still impact the amount of powerturners out there and have a huge chill fest!!

If we plan it, I can bring 5-6 boats... I am down to shut down a lake and stop the normal stupidity we all endure from some of these boaters. Canyon would prob be our only hope.

right on dude, canyons fine with me. any ideas on a date? should it be an annual thing or just whenever we decide to have it? I think we could do both, have yearly set date and then have a few of them to get it going. Any thoughts on this?

second weekend of next month? first couple prob wont work, as far as shutting down the lake but I'm sure it will be a good time all the same.

yea that would be the perfect time to have it. Ill talk to some friends and see if they would come out. itll be Sooo tight.
Do you know if they'll lower the limit of boats they'll let on? I can't see them not changing it.

I know that Saguaro closes at like 8 am on weekends. I have seen them close Canyon like once. We usually go to Canyon on Sundays at like 6 am to get a couple runs in. Then it turns into the ocean of idiots!

Yeah I saw canyon closed about five or six times. But this would be cool if we all got out there like around six .

I doubt you could get enough wakeboarders to close the lake. It's a nice idea, I just don't see it happening.
