I just got to ride my brand new 09 One bindings this weekend and my lead foot was cramping just below my pinky toe. What could I do to help this a bit. Im assuming it has to do with my stance but im not sure.

Eat a banana before you ride

cramping is either a muscle in a shortened state, or magnesium / mineral deficiency. so if the boots are too tight, and the pinky toe is jammed...see how they are after the break-in. if not. get some magnesium citrate or glycinate -NOT OROTATE (you will be pooping in your boardshorts if you get this). 80% of the population is deficient in magnesium due to the crappy farming practices in this country...

wow...Is it possible that the bindings are just little too tight over the top of your foot?

Just ride more man... those boots are the bomb and didn't require any break-in time for me. If you ride more your feet will adapt. You'll have foot issues in any bindings if you don't ride alot.

Yeah ill just try loosening them up a bit, but I don't have a chance to ride all that much. The only place I can ride at is 3 hours away and I can only hit it up on weekends. They were awesome bindings other than that though.

Okay a lot of good stuff here but there is one thing that is hasnt been discussed. On the outside of our feet (pinky toeside) in about the middle of your foot is a bone that I totally am spacing the name of. Anyway if you are looking at your lead foot, slide your hand from your pink toe along the outside down to about the middle of your foot and you should feel the pressure point/bone that I am talking about. (its right behind the meat of your outside foot and before your heel. Anyway, having been a super active snowboard my whole life and have a foot doctor for a next door neighbor I can tell you that if you apply any pressure at all on that bone it will make your whole foot cramp up and be extremely painful. I have experienced this many times with snowboard boots (due to where the straps clamp down) and a few times with wake boots. If can totally destroy your fun on the water from the pain it causes. That could have something to do with it.
