I dont overtighten the screws that go to my fins on my wakeboards, but they are snug. The screws seem to pull out of the fins and I end up loosing them. Obrien oasis lost 3 sets, now my slingshot response I lost one fin the first day. Do you guys loose your wakeboard fins regularly? Or is there a fix to this.

blue locktite helps but slingshot would probably help you out with getting new fins. I lost a whole set from an 07 board and they have fixed the issue for 09. They use bigger screws so you need to drill out the board to take the bigger screws and they are stronger fins too. I havent even had to tighten mine and I ride about 4-5 times a week. Before I would have to tighten them between sets. Just call and ask for Kyle, he has been awesome to work with.

Call up slingshot, their 09' fins are 1000000% better

+1 for Kyle, that guy is the man. I heard he once saved a bus of boy-scouts from a cliff, and bears... he is a hero

I've lost many fins through the years, all from regular wake riding. Landing big airs going fast puts a lot of pressure on them.
