Ok I have been looking at the sesitec 2.0 and the rixen lil bro and am I the only one that thinks that they dont look all that complicated? I think the hardest thing about getting one together yourself would be figuring out the gearing. I was just wondering if the is anyone else that has thought about/ tried to one-off one. Sorry in advance if this is a repeat thread I looked and couldnt find one

I will be the first to throw it out there for you. It is not that easy. I am also sure your house doesn't have 3 phase power. Which is where the first part gets harder. I am all for making your own stuff though. Good luck

I really hope you do this, who knows it could be the start of the M2 system!

i had the same thought. after some talks i found out it's a little tougher than you think. and 3 phase will be your hold up unless you build one differently and figure out something else.

Yo Mason I'm with you an 100%! I post a thread about that about a weeks ago

It's true that the biggest problem is the 3 phase power but from what my friend said, you can find a second hand generator 3 phase for about 1300$...
A friend of mine might begin to build one once he finished his exams at uni.
Good luck dude

I have already looked into the generator and thats a go, i think my main problem ig going to be the gearing and getting a control system set up for the motor
