I want to buy a new board and don't know what to go with. I heard that the SS response is fast and still has great pop for being continuous. I don't know too much about the Co. boards, there is no dealer around me that has them. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

Currently they are pretty similar (this being said without ever riding Co.). but i believe they will be differentiating themselves more in the future... but don't get me wrong they have their differences too, even now.

There's the common cliche, Demo if at all possible

Slingshot would probably be a better choice since your local dealers carry them.

As for boards:
Yes the slingshot response is fastest. but if you are looking for something with a bit of a abrupt pop with speed then the new Reflex might be a better choice. it is basically a middle-ground blend of the recoil and response

Co has two boards. recruit - continuous. severance- threestage. one thing i like from the Co. boards is that the recruit has 3 fins on each end for those that might want more options on fins

all in all, cant go wrong with either one (Co. or SS)

Slingshot, one of the best run companies around... you will not be sorry.

ha ha, funny I was going to see the same thing, but opposite. I tried both and loved the Co Ltd way more for cable. Just found it edged and released better for air tricks. One thing to be aware of is the bindings are a major hassle for both sling and Co. The liner will come out EVERY time. In the end I glued the liner permanently into the boot. I also cut out 4 holes so I can still get to the screws. Works a treat.
