Please recommend a reputable operation in or around Sac that will complete a clean install including amps, subs, LED’s, extra betteries, etc. Cost is a factor but I am just looking for a nice look and clean crisp sound. If you have had negative experience with a particular shop please advise so I may steer clear and avoid a similar situation. Also if you have recently had a system installed I would love to see some pics and a ballpark dollar figure along with what was installed. (parts list) FYI, my boat currently has the Clarion deck with the factory JL audio speakers. I will treat this post as a grade school class election, i.e. you can nominate yourself to be president! In other words if you think I should do business with you feel free to shoot me an e-mail. Much appreciated. I need this ting bumpin before the weather gets nice.

Neptunes Marine Audio! They are in Stockton but it is worth the drive. They specialize in BOAT audio. Charles and Jim are great guys too. They have a booth @ the Sac boat show right now. Also here is there website: www.teamneptunes.com

I would make the drive to Redwood City and go see Grant and Clay at SoundIllusions. They have a long list of happy customers and they have provided us all guidance along the way. I am a customer, I am happy to sing their praises as are otheres.

http://www.soundillusionsaudio.com/ You can't seriously think a 2 hour (or less) drive is too much bother, can you? (Message edited by trakkerguy on March 12, 2006)

Anyone have sound illusions phone number? I could not find it on their website. What are some nice looking great sounding tower speakers other then Fusion and the MC standard JL audio tower speakers?

Dont take your boat to Sound Illusions. I had my system installed there and they fill my boat with Sub's LED's Amp's TV screen's and Battery's Now everytime I get in my boat it's like the Sat night live skit "Night at the Roxberry" and that "What is love" song keep playing

Off subject, CAR, That is one of the tightest SANTE's I've seen! Back to subject, You aint "Bling Bling" until Grant's given your boat the "Ding A Ling". Grant, That jingle is now patented and you can purchase it from me for a small fee.

If you are around the Modesto, CA. area, I'd highly recommend Liquid Trends. They did an outstanding job on my V215.

Joe, how did you mount your eq? I'm trying to fnd/fabricate a moutn for mine adn was looking for options. I want it accesible by the driver but also hidden from the elements. Right now it's up under my dash but my mount isn't holding very well. I'm using a bracket I made and some industrial velcro....the velcro works great but the glue backing won't stick in the high humidity.

Scott made a enclosue that looks factory and its mounted on the right side of the dash down low but not underneath . There is a spot on the X2 dash that is perfect for placement both for looks and function .
