How do i get a surfing wake on my 20v?

I have a tige 20v, w/ about 1,000 lbs of balast, It kicks up kind of a white washed wave, I have a 680 lb fat sac to work with, i wanna get surfing on it, any good ideas on how to make this happen?

We just traded our 04 switch v. We could get a pretty good wave on the port side, and a better one on the starboard side. We loaded the boat up with 1900 lbs of ballast. Put everyone on the side of the boat that you want to surf on. The biggest key that we figured out was to put 2 people in the bow on the side that you are surfing, this allows the wave to get a little longer and cleaner. With that setup we usually ran taps at about 3-4, just play with it until the wave cleans up.

We have a Tige 20i. Great wake on both sides. We put a 750 lb sack in the middle back. Another 750 lb. sack on the side we are riding on. We have a 75 lb fat brick we move around as needed. We have another 50 lbs solid ballast in the bow and 50 lbs in the rear locker. For a v-drive you will need to modify this placement but the total weight should be similar. I've wakesurfed on just about every model tige makes. my parents own a boat dealership in Fresno California and I was able to get a great surfwake out of the 20v the I took out one day. Put everyone on the side of the boat that you'll be surfing on and weight that side too. i put a 500 pound sac in that one corner and a 750 up front. i only had 2 other people in the boat and it was still really good. put the taps around 2 or 4 just depending on how much weight you have in the boat. good luck
