I checked out the new 2006 Roam yesterday and I noticed how much its changed since last years version. Im going to get one and I know how much everyone loves this board, but has anyone ridden both models and if so how do the two compare, which is more fun, which rides better, etc.

Callen, where you at? Callen kills it on both of them. He says the '06 edges better and doesn't feel as loose. I don't think you'll go wrong either way, although they don't seem to hold up for too long for wake riding.

I heard that the 06 Roam is a lot better, but still both the same basic ride.

the 06 is completely the better board. it edges harder, yet is still just as loose as the old board. it ollies and pops way bigger, i would say bigger than any normal board on the market. it has less swing weight than most boards. i love it.
