MSRP : 114k to me: 108k I didnt negociate at all i think i can take another 3k or a lil more but this is it and i think its pretty expensive.... What do you guys think ? Significant changes from last year ?

I think its the best inboard on the water. Pretty high, but then again you are in Canada, I know I could do better but I am in the U.S.

That is straight craziness. I know it is a brand new boat and the discounts aren't that great but I would expect to get more than 5% off MSRP. in this market I would think you could get 10-15% off MSRP easy. Has the price of a loaded 230/236 gone up 20K+ since beginning of the season 2007? If so that is nuts.

todays exchange says .93 us to 1 can dollar. so that puts 108k right at 99k us. still seems really high, especially given the season. That said, it seems like every new boat cc sells is a 230/236. They definitely got a winner.

I am sure an X45 is about that much. Nothing like losing 20-30k the second you drive it off the lot. Ouch.

Anyone even seen any photos of the 10's yet. I have heard they have added the screen, stereo volume control and some leds inside, but is anything else added? If not, you should be able to buy a 09 for much cheaper (maybe even a 08 if there is any left). There was a new 08 210 on OIB for 45K. You could buy 2 and a nice trailer for that price.

Thats freaking nuts, you can do better. Granted it was at the boat show but there was a beautiful loaded (with FCT 3 and Z5 cargo bimini) 2009 230 for 75k. Seemed reasonable cause that boat is amazing. But that still a lot of money for a boat. They really did it right on that one. Good luck on that one

Wow...I also remember seeing well equipped 230's in the 70's. Good luck Resale? even CC doesn't hold their value that good.

i know that the resale point not worth that much, and i think i will not drop 115k CDN for a boat... well i think but it all depends if i really fall in love with the boat, it also depends on my trade in value V.S best price i can get on the new one ... if i feel confortable in the situation ill be in the driver seat if not ill pass it on. But if you dont want to spend a lot of money on boat changes i dont need to wait 5 years to change it, i think 2-3 years is ok by now. (Message edited by radikal on July 28, 2009)

I was just thinking 95K new...3 years later you want to sell your boat...what is it worth? 60-65K, why so low? I think someone spending 70-80K for a used boat will probably spend a couple bucks more and get a new boat. Just a thought.

Being a guy that just picked up a brand new 2009 230 TE pretty much fully loaded (ZR6, FC3, Z5, etc), let me say that price is WAY more than I paid. WAY! Digital screen, 2010, minor improvements... I don't care, it doesn't justify that much more money unless you just have too much burning a hole in your pocket. (If you do, I will be happy to take some out of there).

I talked to an AZ dealer today and was quoted $93,000 on a fully loaded custom ordered team 230 with the zr6, fc3 and z5 rack. They said that price was "workable"...

Even though I live in Vegas, I went to the dealer in San Diego. I had talked with Neil. Very Nice person. He basically puts together a boat that you want. His prices are very reasonable. I also went to the dealer in Norco, Calif. Pete also was very nice. When I am ready to purchase a boat, its going to come down to who has the better price. I am aware the the new 2010 boats have the Links Screen. I really do not care about that. I think the boat is awesome all around. $109K is very steep in my opinion. I am looking at around $85K for a 2010 boat the way I want it. Good luck shopping around. I am sure you will find something at a great price for you. Tazz

I agree with Tazz, I negotiated a deal on a brand nex X-Star for 28K less than sticker! It took me two months of going back and forth with them and making them irate and some points but hey I got the deal I wanted. This was not a boat on their lot either, it was ordered to my spec from MC. That being said, no way I would pay over 90K for that boat!!

Kirk, lol That sounds too high to me. Get an 09 after the 10's come out and save some money. I mean is the gimicky little digital display worth like 20k?? Also, just ignore the MSRP's they are ridiculously overpriced. The MSRP on the X2 I just bought was 82k. I mean its silly. MSRP $266,000 Deal today $66,000 Wow you saved 200k what a slick deal.. 200k off! (Message edited by kimper on July 29, 2009)

108k... That's ridiculous. You could get a house for that. That thing better have a bathroom, 'cause you're gonna be living in it!

Dude, if you pay that you are...well you know. Work that down. You can definitely picked up a new 2008 or used one for close to half that price. DO NOT PAY THAT!

25 hrs, loaded & free delivery. I have not spent a lot of time looking at 230's, but I would say thats not a bad deal.

Where did you see 25 hours? It says 185 hours at time of delivery. Not a bad deal at all, but not a knockout deal due to the hours. (Granted, 185 is still low hours)

OK Peoples! Im from Caanda and I can explain. Wakeboard boat pricing up here are ripoffs!! The CC dealer in my area is the worste. I guarantee you will get a way better price in the USA then what gets sold up here. There is a reason why so many Canadians go to the US to purchase wake boats.

@Greg & any dealers that would like to comment; I don't get why a dealer would play hardball on a boat that is ordered?? It's a no-brainer, customer specs the boat, pays a deposit, boat delivered from factory, boat delivered to customer-money in dealer's pocket! Dealer=no out of pocket money or "floorcharges", 5 hours or so w/demo and handholding for customer=profit and no capital or floor space tied up! I understand if the dealer has to order the boat in August on a "spec" deal, ties up line of credit and order allotment, etc..that dealer needs to make some good margin in that case. Dealers chime in! thanks, Jack

yeah here a malibu VLX 08 when i bought it cost me 70k I think its high but we are in canada, and you have to put 13% taxes over that. So a boat that cost 110k will cost 125k with taxes, i know its incredible but this is how it is in canada. In the USA you save a lot of money but i dont know how much it cost to transfer a boat from US to Canada even a new one....
