Just got back from Bullard's could not believe how low it was. Ranger said it was droping a foot a day do to water releases. The ramp by school house ran out of pavement. The lake still is the shzzz though.

Shasta is lower than normal right now as well. I was told that they dumped massive amounts of water out of Shasta during the Delta levee break in an effort to keep the salt back.

that sucks for all of you. I live in louisiana and we maintain a perfect level of water for fish, gators, and wakeboarding.

I was at Pedro and Oroville both in the last 4 weeks. They actually weren't as bad as I expected. I'm used to seeing Oroville in October though, when islands start appearing in the middle of the lake.

It seems the lake are way beyond the normal level for this time of year. Wonder how long it would take let's say for Bullards to reach the tree line again? I was there last year in june and it was only ten feet from it. Just something to think about

Gina, What's up? I was out in the delta on Sunday, and it's still blocked off to boat traffic.

Rene,

I was on the Delta Sunday. Too bad I never saw you. We rode way down Old River and Vics. Noticed the area around Ski Beach is now all 5 mph (about time). There were a lot of boats on the beach late Friday afternoon. We had some pretty good water conditions. Let me know when you're headed out next time.
