Ok, sorry to ask this again but I have no way to demo these boards and I am still a beginner who plans on alot of surface tricks and some airs soon hopefully. No rails in my future. I've had some knee problems but I'm looking at 04 absolute 141, 05 ricky g.142, 05 lf trip 142 or bs blade. any input would be great. Thanks again! BTW I'm 5'10 190lbs. Also like something that has tighter feel to it.

I went from a 4 year old HL Belmont, to an 04 LF Absolute about 6 weeks ago. Wow, what a difference. I love the Absolute. Great pop, carves great, and is nice and soft on the landings. Can't go wrong. I did not get the Platinum. The extra $100 was not worth it for a bit less weight, and I am not so hot a rider that I would notice the difference in the pop, flex, etc.

Go with the platinum, it is worth the $100. I know a lot of people say that the special cores are not worth the money, but I totally disagree. I don't think the weight makes the big difference, but the snap off the wake is better. I would not ride foam agian if it was up to me.
