Stereo Help???

Just installed a new Kenwood deck....the new deck output is 4x50 and the old deck was a Sony 4x35...The problem is power loss....when I trim the outdrive the stereo shuts down...It also happened when I turned the volume up to 24 and above...I never had this problem until I had the new deck installed.....Any ideas on what is going on.....Please help

run the yellow power wire to the battery

run the ground to it while your at it.
