Does anyone know if video exists of this long lost wakeboarding maneuver? I've never seen it but I've heard the legend and was curious if any of the old videos have this little gem in it....

Wasn't this Zane's answer to Shapiro's Speed Ball (doulbe front). I remember seeing someone do it at the X games in San Diego years ago. Another version perfected by norcal rider Dan Bright is the superman front flip - stall out the front flip while pointing foward with your front hand before tucking in for the flip.

It was actually Jeremy Kovak's trick, it was essentially the same trick that snowboard guy used to do in the big air comps. Not technically difficult but it looked kinda cool, more a stunt than a trick.

Shane Bonifay does a stalled out front in 12 Honkeys. Describe the slow ball for me.

I think you might be able to get the video 'Fluid' on DVD now. had a great soundtrack, and some great riding in it for the day. you can see the Murdog rocking his first pro-model board in that video. Kovak does a huge slow-ball off of a kicker in that video.

I thought Shane did a stalled out toe front roll...cool looking. Kovac's is the same idea but it's a heel front flip, if memory serves.

He goes big and has some nice style too. That Nauti he is riding behind is sweet.

Love the Super Man... awesome. I think the ladies would enjoy the "super man" as much as the "super man"(flip) yea?

I think Alliance, on the same note as their "throw back" competition, should have a comp. seeing who can bring down the best old school trick. Blenders, Slurpees and Boner flips - aww yeah. No grabs, and the more hucked = the higher score. I saw in a prior thread that David Williams offered Adkison 100 bones to throw a Slow Ball/Boner flip. Hell if some of you guys think you can get a good old school trick on film I'd love to see it.

Wensink is a super nice guy & another one of those un-known pros (like Mark Wiekel from GB). I got to meet him when he ventured out to a MWWF a few years back. Plus he is from Indiana (or was it Ohio)...anyway Midwest represent!!!

Adam is the shizz!! I met him at my first comp. a few years ago in MO. I had no clue what the heck I was doing and he showed me the ropes the whole weekend, even made sure I made it to the bars with his crew!! I was stoaked when he ended up winning everything though and couldnt believe how nice him and his whole crew were!!
