I ordered an X-2 and plan to install the Fly High additional ballast bag setup - 1,600 pounds. Anyone done this before? Tips, advice, etc.?

i have posted the info a number of times. if your x2 is 06 or 08 its no problem. do a search of previous posts.

07 has ballast pumps with timers that are tough to change

only thing i have not have said before is use hairdryer to heat hose before you put on fittings. makes em go on ton easier.

its easy process. first time prob 3 hours one side, 1.5 hours second side. bow takes 2-3 hours.

if you know what doing, whole thing in like 4?

I plan on having the dealer install it. I saw the heater hose issue. Any other issues? Should I have additional pumps and switches installed? How long does it take to fill? How long does it take to empty?

Thanks

Make sure you order a new prop too. Stocker doesn't cut it on my 06. Just ordered an OJ XMP 14.25x14

I am a dealer for both OJ and Acme. I'll try out a few and see what works the best. Since I'll be using the boat for more than full out ballast wakeboarding, I'll carry a no-ballast high speed prop as well. We barefoot.
