What model and year is this boat?

It is being sold as an 03 Mastercraft ProStar 205v. It says "X series" but I cant find another like it?

it's probably what it says in the add the the x series decals on the side were just added. that would be my guess but i'm not 100% on that.

Well it is indeed a Prostar 205v. Up until 2002 the 205v was Mastercrafts X-star. In 2003 the 205v became the X-2. Many people like the graphics package of the traditional 205v and then add an sticker to it that identifies it as an X-Series boat. The 205v is also known as the 1999-2002 X-Star, the 2003-2005 X-2 & 2006-2008(?) X-1. They are all the same hull with varying towers/options etc.

All this being said, they are widely known to produce one of the best wakeboard wakes ever!!! If its a good price, has reasonable hours & you like it, jump on it. They are incredible wake makers and my only negative is that they are relatively small boats if you have a large crew.

Is the x-2 and this boats hull the same but each comes with different features? if so what are the diferences? Sorry for asking soo many questions but Im looking at purchasing =)

I'm not sure about the graphics prior to 02 but the graphics on that boat are the same as on the 02 I just bought.

If you go to tmcowners.com, there is a thread that tells you how to decode the vin#. Doing this will tell you exactly what you are buying.

It is a early 03 X2. MC was unsure what the name of the boat would end up so they badged the early 03 models with X series decals then switched to X2 later in the model year
