for some reason i have every issue of wakeboarding mag since i started subscribing, i feel like its a waste to just throw away. what do you do with your old mags?

Used to do that with other mags, then realized I would never look at anything more than 3 months old, other than buyers guides. So much for keeping trick tips etc. Took up too much space. Dumped them in the paper recycling pile one day and said begone! Didn't miss them at all. Kinda funny when I started looking for a new boat this summer and pulled out the boat buyers guides from 02 & 04...

i just got a massive stash...all in date how sad is that!!

i just keep them coz sometimes there are things that i would need to keep like the trick tips or whatever. just pay all that money to subscribe then throw them away would be a waste

The 100th issue had a contest for anyone that had all 100 issues. I can't remember what they gave away but it was worth something.

I haven't thrown out a single wakeboarding magazine that I've ever gotten. Now if we're talking Playboy I've got a box in the garage if someone wants them lol.

I usually pass them on to my young buds. I do however have some copies of Level 10...a mag that was around back in 1999-2000. Not even sure where I picked those up, but it's a trip to look back through them and check out the boats and gear. Most of the riders in the issues I have, you never even hear of anymore.

Mine are stacked up on my dresser. I keep telling my self i will organize them, but I'm not sure that will ever happen. I like to go back and look at the older ones sometimes when I'm bored.

Sent mine also to Iraq. I just put up a post for anyone that knew a wakeboarder serving over there and got a response from someone actually in Iraq. Packed 'em up, threw in some goodies and a thank you note and shipped them off.

Yeah I have definitely given a fair share amount away, and some have probably gotten lost. I usually have a couple of boxes with nothing but wbm mags in them. The last time I was back home I was up in the attic and picked up one. It had a 'ground breaking' sequence of sara cline (dont know if you guys remember her) doing a scarecrow. It was hideous, and she barely pulled it out - but apparently it was quite a feat at the time for pro women. Oh yeah - she was the chick known for riding in a thong if that helps jar the memory...
