I already have two ebi Allianceacl braces. My second one seems like they didi a half-arse job on it. I was considiering returning for them to replace it or replacing with a diff brand.

What other braces are very good for wakeboarding???

Did they redesign the cti-2?

Travis, I think it was a very intelligence response since 5 different people I ride with and know who have gone through ACL constructions and 3 different docs. None wore braces, and did not have full release until strength was where it should be. If your doc is recommending a brace, looks like he should be a good source of recommending a specific brand to his line of rehab.

He only recommends donjoy and i have not seen one wakeboarder use donjoy.
Anyway i know that braces are just supplemental protection and understand the importance of getting your leg strong .
Honestly i'm two years out from acl reconstruction on my left leg and will continue to use the brace for that leg. It is just a mental thing, keeps me aware that my knee is not FACTORY.
I'm unhappy with my new brace for my right knee. The company obviously did not use the same care that they did the first time.

I am pretty much the same way with my knee brace. I have had the Cybex test on my knee and it is back to almost 100% two years after surgery so my doctor and physical therapist have both cleared my to ride without my knee brace but I continue to wear it because I do not notice it while riding and it gives me some mental comfort while riding. A few weeks ago one of my friends had a knee brace save him from another complete ACL tear so that was enough for me to want to keep the brace. I continue to work on my strength and flexibility but I like that added bonus of having a brace on. I use the CTi2 Vapor and haven't had any problems with it while riding. It is the lightest weight version of the CTi2 and I think it is the same brace that several pros use including Murray and Collin Harrington.

Yeah i opted for the E.B.I Alliance brace two years ago. Shane, Harf, Greenwood and lyman all used it but the new one is not a good fit.

They did not have the C.T.I Vapor when i got my first one and i did not feel like switching brands, until i recieved my brace.

I also ride with the CTi2 Vapor. It's great for Wake and Snow.

I know that Jeff House (CWB pro rider) rides with a donjoy and is not to happy with it. Everyone I know, that has a brace, rides with a Cti2 and we all agree that it is the best brace for wakeboarding.

I'll be riding the Cti2 once I get back on the water. I used it snowboarding before I had my surgery, and after a while I didn't even notice I had it on.
