Amp reccomendations for Wetsounds 10FAS

I currently have a Fosgate 4001 running 10 6.5's and I installed the 10" wetsounds free air sub last week. The shop was nice enough to give me a pos bazooka amp just to get some sound out of it for the weekend(I didnt want to buy an amp without research). This is my first experience with this sub so I was wondering if you guys had any reccomendations?

Justin,

If you want to stick with Rockford. The P300-1 will do 300 watts mono at 2 ohms. The woofer you probably have is the dual 4 ohm. So wire it in parallel making it a 2 ohm load. That woofer is rated at 300 watts rms. So you will be right on as far as power.

Thanks Tim...I'm not partial to any particular brand though. Really just looking for what you have put to it to get the best out of it or better yet what you would put to it if you had my set up. Obviously you would know best. BTW, great product!

300 watts is good power. That rockford amp will be perfect.

we run that rockford amp with a p2 12" fosgate sub and for being a budget setup it hits surpringly well
