Im looking to either paint or wrap my 2000 tige 21i. Any idea how much it would cost me or where I could find someone to do it?

Yea, and it will only last a few years. It isn't like paint where you can buff stuff out, when the vinyl tears or fades, it is there forever. I got my boat painted for $1600 in TN. Would have been cheaper, but I had to get the bottom blisters fixed from the PO.Upload

I've been wondering this too. With regards of painting the boat, who do you call to get ideas/prices? Do they use special paints? Are they gelcoated over after? thanks

Nick, the guy I took it to is in TN. He uses a paint that is $400/gallon. It is an awlgrip that supposedly can withstand a lot. He doesn't use gelcoat because he says that the chemical bond is not there. When boat builder build their boats, they have a chemical bond between the hull and the gel coat when everything is laid. With older boats, you dont get a chemical bond, everything is adhesion (sp?)
