Monsoon II with 325 HP

I believe he means which chevy since that's all that Malibu's come with.

Monsoon, Hammerhead or Corvette?

It's obviously not the Vette so that narrows it down to Hammerhead or Monsoon. I am guessing that it's a Monsoon, most likely 325hp?

The reason I'm asking is I'm looking at buying this boat and want to make sure it has enough HP to get out of the hole when it's slammed with weight.

Is the 325Hp the smallest engine used for the Escape 23 ?

It might need to be repropped but the Monsoon gets out of the hole real well. I'd say you should be good to go.

What is the diff. between the Monsoon II and original Monsoon besides 5hp.

I have the Monsoon in my 96 vlx.

Clint, Well for one they don't look the same... Different computer that runs it and different flame aresstor, really just updated the tech. on the motor.

Walt, talking with the mechanics it is the monsoon, but they thought it was only 320hp not 325hp.

Chad, It cant be a 320hp, the 320 used a different flame arresstor, it was blue, the picture shown is the 325 w/ the carbon fiber cover.
