I'm scheduled for 10/24 with the Patella graft. Reading this thread makes me that much more nervous! I shouldn't be as I've got one of top Orthopedic doctors in town, I'll have the CPM machine, Cryo tool as well as localized pain meds.

One NEW question for you all thou. Post your knee injury and pre surgery did your "good" knee give you problems due to favoring it? I injured my left knee and now the right (no previous injuries) is bothering me from what I think is overcompensation.

I have been surfing a few times since my injury and I could really tell that I was favoring my good left leg (happens to be my back leg while surfing). Even though I could put pressure and movement on my right leg I was nervous about hurting it further (I brought my percoset on the trips just in case). My good leg got fatigued quicker than normal and I actually had deep tissue pain in that leg due to favoring. Other than that it wasnt too bad and I didnt run into any real problems.
