I didn't like the look of the mounts on the Liquid Audio speaker cans and I heard reports of them scratching the tower so I bought speakers and cans seperate and did it myself. I got chrome speaker cans for $170 a pair ($340 for 4 cans and $30 shipping so $370 total with shipping for 4 chrome cans) from a guy who sells them new on Ebay. He's got some polished aluminum cans and speakers up on ebay right now (here's the link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15272&item=3692086 727), if you wanted to buy the cans without the speakers like I did and put in the speakers you actually want, just ask him how much (he'll take $ off if you want them without the speakers) and he can sell them to you off auction (I bought mine off auction). Then the actual speakers I bought also on Ebay from a company that sells them new (when possible I always try to buy from companies on Ebay rather than individual sellers, and there's probably hundreds of companies selling Sony Xplods on Ebay at any given time). I got them for $45 a pair plus $25 shipping per pair, so $70 per pair with shipping or $140 for 4. So, all told it was $510 for 4 new chrome cans (with good mounts), 4 new Sony Xplodes, and shipping. I don't mean to put down Liquid Audio, but you can do a better job yourself for cheaper...
