i recently updated my bindings from splits to highbacks and they are much tighter and harder to get into than the splits. when i fall and come out of the splits, i could easily put them back on in the water, but the only way i can get into the highbacks is with a lube, so my question is what do you guys do when you come out of your binding(s) after a fall? do you go back to the boat and lube em up or what?

I usually have the same problem as you. I have size 13 feet and most bindings aren't made for feet that big. I have to relube the bindings sometimes however overtime they will stretch out a little and they wont be as bad. You could try putting baseballs or something in them over night to help stretch them out. Or just get some binding that use a lace to tighten up.

Sounds funny, but shave the tops of your feet. Any hair tends to make them "sticky" in the water.

I used to have that problem till my CWB Torq's stretched out. But what I did was just have someone in the boat pull me back...haha slaves. Throw me the lube bottle, and I just lubed a bunch so it didn't wash out quick and got in.
