04 Cyclone has Sony Xplod xm ready cd/receiver. Thinking about getting the rest of the stuff to get xm. Does xm play the same music everyday like clockwork. All the fm stations I listen to, play the same stuff almost daily, and the newer stuff several times a day. If I listen to the heavy metal station on the xm, how often am I going to hear the same tunes repeated. Anybody?

I listen to XM all the time in my truck. Unless you're listening to a station like "Top 20", you're not going to hear the same songs. I love that XM plays songs that you never hear on the radio.

Patt according to Alexs profile he goes to the same lakes as I do, I have never had any problems with mine. ON lake Oroville there are some canyons that are pretty tall and very narrow and I have gotten perfect reception there. He probably had the antenna in a bad spot. As far as hearing the same songs over and over... as John pointed out only on station 20 which is top 20. all the other stations are great, and very rarely do I ever hear the same song. with 100 stations you have so many choices.
