Got to the lake this morning and it had a good 1/4 to 1/2" of ice all over it. Rather than take an idle round to break it I though lets just ride anyhow.

Well after lots of cavitation we were underway with me skating on the top of the ice. Was kind of like snowboarding, very loud scraping noise and the spray from the side of the boat was big chunks of ice which landed on the rest of the ice and skidded over it.

Boat crew were too busy laughing to either record the footage or realize the engine was over heating as ice doesn't flow through the scupper very well!

Anyhow no damage done and after the 4th or so set the ice had broken up enough for us to bust some moves. We were all to scared to pull anything out on the first runs incase we caught an edge and face planted through the ice!

Never known weather this cold in the UK in November! As the boat is moored 24/7 we decided to drain the block after todays outing :-)
