looking for help on how to build an amp rack for three amps to fit in my 2006 malibu V-ride. Thinking about putting it by the passenger's side in the storage area. Already have two batteries, going to add another, and a 12" sub. Thanks Chris

The amp rack mounts against the bulkhead in the passenger compartment. If you were to look into the passenger side storage area...the amp mounts against the back wall. It is screwed into the bulkhead The curve is for the side of the hull so that it is flush. I will post more pics later this week.

Here's mine. I used http://www.alucobond.com/alucobond-start.html for the rack, it's a 1/16" layer of super durable plastic sandwiched between two 1/32" layers of aluminum. The result is a super strong and stable base that when the amps were mounted does not flex at all and it's super easy to work with and is waterproof. Mounted the bottom to the floor reinforcing rib and the rubrail backing at the top, eight points in all. Covered it in oem carpet to finish.

chris, powering 6 polk cabin speakers with the syn 4, 4 bullet hollowpoints 7.7's with the syn 2 (wetsounds pro 80's do not fith the new FCT3 tower with z5 rack) powering a Treo 12 with the Syn 1 amp. I have everything hookep up minus a sub and let me say it is LOUD! still have to tune the 420 eq. I will post pics of the total build when i get it done.
