What do you think is a good price for a new 04 VLX. Not sure on exact options yet but most likely it will have the Monsoon and all the other regular stuff. As late as it is in the year I'm hoping for a good deal.

Here in SoCal you are going to pay 48K+/-. You might be able to get a better deal up north though.

I'd say ~44k loaded, but w/o upgraded stereo and no tower upgrades (i.e. illusion)

Malibu isn't taking orders any longer on '04s are they? You would have to find a remaining boat on the lot I would think.

You're right malibu is not taking orders but I've found a couple boats at local dealerships. They are willing to deal because they are 2004 but I just wanted to get an Idea of how much I could expect them to budge.

I just picked up my '05 VLX at WSA for $49,500.

That included the bow ballast, Perfect Pass, illusion tower, racks, tandem trailer, double battery and perco switch, 340 monsoon, wedge, and bimini top.

I beleive they offer a discount to repeat buyers.. about $2500 if I remember correctly (which the 49,500 reflects).

OK Chris, Have you gone to a dealer yet? I can say that I picked up my Malibu at Ultimate Water Sports in San Jose about four months ago...and have been EXTREMELY happy with the sales and service. Devin at Ultimate...and Michelle at Cpoes are a great team. (I dont work there, and did not know them before I bought my boat). I dont think they have many more 04 VLX left...jump on it now. Call Ultimate in San Jose, ask for Devin, and go from there. If they can get you to a price you can agree to...they will.

Yes I have been ot a dealer, Ultimate in Sac but we haven't got down to details yet. I was there yesterday and they seemed to have some good deals on the 04's.
