How 'bout wakesurfing?
Or wakesurf boards?

Maybe they would be considered last year
and only "caught on" this year.
What do you think?

Solid list Dave!

However, I still think that "wake wing" thing should be on there?...... j/k

Tige4Life.......(or just until I can talk my wife into a SANTE)!

I agree with Sandy. I think that our industry was most influenced and affected this year by the surfboard... landlock etc...

I didn't include any wakesurf boards for two reasons. One, is that wakesurfing has been around longer than wakeboarding, so it certainly isn't new. And two, I'm not sure that there is anything way out there as far as innovation on the boards. Obviously, we've seen a lot of great shapes, but they are all pretty much take offs of a basic surfboard or skimboard. I don't think there is any one board that stands out as a crazy new innovative design.

Ryan, the Wake Wing will be included.

I'm pretty sure its the first year for P-tex type bases on wakeboards, to me thats a pretty big jump in board technology considering how much guys are hitting sliders now on both the pro tour and recreationally

They had P-Tex based boards last year at Surf Expo. I think it was Origin that was making them.

Yeah, I think Origin has had that for several years now. That was one of their original claims to fame.

Sure all the above mentioned innovations are cool and neat, but the only two that have the possibility of bringing riders to the next level are the new hull designs.
