ballast valve you can open/close from 3 ft away?

one of my valves is located in the engine compartment. I get tired of open it up to change the valve. any other options?

Look into getting an electric solenoid valve with a switch on the dash. It works on your DC's low voltage. You'll find them at Home Depot or whatever. They are used in lawn sprinkler systems. Do your researsh on this or the other WB site and you'll find plenty of info.

www.flow-rite.com - they make a special valve specifically for ballast. gotta call - it's not on their site. it's like $100 per valve IIRC.

i found the the flow rite. that seems pretty spendy for my needs.

Another valve option is a swimming pool solar heater valve. Search for Jandy or Pentair, they are expensive new but you might be able to find them on e-bay. They are typically used with 3 way valves but you can either use a on/off ball valve or just cap the third port if you find a used 3 way. Part number is JVA-1240. The JVA2440 is the 24volt version the motors are interchangeable but expensive.
