Just came from Lake Eola in downtown Orlando where JD Webb successfully jumped about 110 feet in distance and about 30 to 40 feet high over the Lake Eola fountain!! It was sick to LAND on a ramp and he made it look easy!!Congrats JD you rode great and worked the crowd like a true showman!!

First he landed two out of four practice jumps at about 80 feet (guess) then they moved the ramps further apart and turned on the fountain and JD nailed it on his first try!! Great turnout of at least two thousand people and will be good exposure on the show Stunt Junkies on Discovery Channel probably in December. Congrats again JD, way to represent!!

wow 110 ft!!!! That is huge, this should open the doors for some different ramp setups. you can only go so high with out landing on a declining surface so it makes perfect sense. I can see hitting pool to pool cheese wedges behind a winch, becoming the standard. It seems a lot like snowboarding to me.

Yes, the mayor gave him the key to the city and there was a nice big article with photos in the Orlando Sentinel. JD said he was really fired up to give wakeboarding a new type of exposure and to get the keys to the city!
